Department Role

The City of Rexburg's Finance Department is responsible for the management of the city's annual budget, that has been previously approved by City Council. Each department's budget is managed and administered through this Department. These responsibilities require the use of accounting, budgeting, and financial planning. The Finance Department also handles everything that relates to payroll, internal auditing, purchasing, utility billing, risk management, and property and fiscal records.
