Robert E. Chambers is married to Robin Sue Chambers. Together they have five children and eighteen grandchildren. Robert attended Idaho State University receiving a BA, MPA, and DA in Political Science/Public Administration. He worked for Idaho State University for nine years both teaching as an adjunct faculty and managing the Business and Research Park. He served on the Pocatello City Council for six years and then became the Director of Planning and Development Services for Pocatello serving for sixteen years. He moved to Rexburg in 2011 to teach in the Religious Education Department at BYU-Idaho. He currently serves as the Chair of this department.
